Lots of energies were generated among our Hindu brothers in Malaysia with the issues of belittling of our Hindu religion by some individuals are trying to "break" the peace among our community. Many concerned parents and individuals and also NGOs voiced it out through the social media and police report. It shows that we are very full aware of what is going on around us.

 I believe in my point of view,  that we need to equip our self with the information, knowledge and wisdom from our great Hindu religion. Not only yourself but our next generation which is very important, our children and our younger generation. We as the parents or as the individual shall make effort to take the steps to learn from others who are very well versed in it or learn from our greatest resource or the guru called Google. We have to take the step and make time for it. Commit ourself to do it rather than giving excuses, very busy, no time, lots of office work, house work etc.

There are many symbolises in Hinduism that we carry ourself to show that we are Hindus like pottu, vibuthi, kumkum but we tend to be very shy not to put it on our forehead if we are working or going to school or college. 

There is one symbol that is very sacred and powerful that we can carry ourself without offending anyone but only Hindus know about it. It is rudraksha, the tears of Lord Siva.  It is very powerful, lots of energies and very protective too. One incident happened to one of my friend who to a Hindu temple in the north of India. They did not let him into the temple because he was not "Hindu" even though he carries the Hindu name in his passport. I told him in future if someone stops you for not being a Hindu, chant a mantra from Vedas, sing a devaram song or wear rudraksha around your neck.

A great laud to all the Hindus in Malaysia, wear single rudraksha around your neck or around your wrist. Be proud of being Hindu, learn our Hindu religion, makes changes in your life becoming a good citizen.

Deepavali is a very important occasion for Hindus. It is a grand celebration all around the world. It is a day of solidarity among Hindus and others. It is a day to unity together with differences of belief culture, creed , caste and environment. It is a day of light over darkness,  , wisdom over ignorance and  victory over failure.

3 important things that we need to do .
1. Deepavali Eve Night - Ancestor worship
 Tonight, serve cooked vegetarian food for our ancestor with untasted cookies, biscuits and the clothes you bought for your family.  Light up a ghee light and make sure you serve the food with water. Seek their blessings and forgive and forget mentally. It is a time to reconcile with our ancestors and also with our grandparents, parents all our family members, relatives, friends, acquaintances and business associates.

2. Early morning have your oil bath.
Benefits of Oil Bath
In South India people have a traditional health habit of taking oil bath to improve and maintain good health. It was believed by the people of previous times that the oil penetrates into the roots of hair and adds cold to the body. We know in the modern era that isn't possible however in our hot climate this has the benefit of giving the skin which is our largest organ a very effective source of moisture and nourishment. This helps us stay healthy and helps us look and feel younger which is something we all want!
Commonly two varieties of oils such as coconut and gingle(sessame) oils are used in this treatment. But it is experienced by the people that coconut oil is more desirable than the other one. In some places coconut oil is mixed with broken spices like pepper and garlic before boiling it to get the additional properties of spices. However, the plain coconut oil is used in the most parts of the country. About 25 ml of coconut oil is taken in a small amber colored or white colored bottle. Strictly avoid taking oil in plastic bottles just before the application as they might affect the medicinal properties of coconut oil. A small quantity of oil is applied on the top of the head and it is left for a few minutes. Mostly warm water is preferred by the people to take oil bath. A green colored herbal powder ( soap nut powder ) and shikkakai powder are used to rinse on the head to remove the applied oil thoroughly. Toilet soaps are avoided in oil bath to have good result. Weekly once oil bath is followed by the people to have nice health. Fridays are selected by ladies to take oil bath and Saturdays for men. 
Ayurveda suggests to have oil bath every day because the oil bath dissolves the toxins and flushes them to center of the body so that they can be eliminated by the kidneys.
Method of taking oil bath

The traditional method of taking oil bath is applying  sesame oil (gingelly oil ) or coconut oil all over the body from head to toe using a a gentle massage .Leave it for half an hour and wash off with hot water and use shikkakai for your hair. The sesame oil is used to make your skin more soft and lustrous and the coconut oil is a good choice for clarifying your skin

For those who are too busy to enjoy an oil bath can enjoy it by putting a few drops of oil in a mug and splashing it all over the body,after the bath patting dry with the towel ,gives almost the same result as it immediately spreads a thin layer of oil evenly on the body
Benefits of taking oil bath
1. It clears oily substances from the skin of total body and facilitate the same to transfer heat from its inside to outside.

2. By giving healthy cold to our body we can have good appetite and feeling of taste.

3. Healthy cold prevailing in our body prevents many diseases like jaundice, cancer and other viral diseases.

4. We can get healthy, deep sleep and good concentration in our daily activities.

5. Side effects of severe diet control can be cleared by this good healthy habit.

6. Skin and hair health can be maintained as it removes surface tension on the body.

7. It is very economical and also required once in a week.

Being emotional and anger and impatience with situation and people

Attachment to desires and likeliness
4. Lobha ( Greed )
Being greedy in terms of money , possesion and wealth
5. Mada ( Over Pride )
Feeling of excessive proudness
6. Matsara (Jealousy )
Don't feel good for other peoples's success or achievement

Always think about themselves or "I'ness"
8. Anyaaya ( Injustice )
Being not fair or just and bias
9. Amanavta ( Cruelty )
Being unkind to people , animals and all living things

Navarathri celebration or festival is a very important festival as it conveys some very important messages for mankind.

It is celebrated for 10 days .

Who is the Goddess(Amman)? Goddess is both SHE - feminine energy and IT -the energy of the universe. 
She in the sense of having a form , alive, real and a being who can interact with the physical world. This is the form that we know from our lives and we think of when we pray. But the It in the sense of consciousness or the energy that makes the universe and everything in it go.

Goddess in Sanskrit means Chit or Shakti. From Chit which is Super-Normal Consciousness or Super-consciousness comes Chitta which means the human mind.

She knows everything, be at everywhere , anywhere and at anytime.

​She resides within us . She gives us miraculous power. Only through the Super Conscious Mind can you bypass your negative mind and Ambal is the energy that opens that part of our mind.

The word SHREEM is your gateway way to awaken the highest consciousness within mankind.

​Darpanam which is  the rituals that we do for our ancestors is the technology we use to resolve our karmic debts in the areas of finance, health and relationships.

On this day our ancestors who have been  staying in our house for past 14 days  are going back to the ancestral world called Pitruloka.

Be vegetarian that means no chicken mutton eggs or fish. Serve the less fortunate people (Example, Give a few Ringet to the old lady or old man selling tissues or buy a packet of rice for the man living on the streets) It doesn't have to be a lot of money but give without the thought of getting it back and just because you can and know that someday that could be you or your family and you would want others to help, feed the poor, animals like dogs, birds, cats, fish etc.
May your life will be elevated to the next level and all your financial problems, your relationship problems and your health issues are resolved and you will have an abundance and blissful life.

Today  September 17, 2016 is the beginning of a very auspicious month for Lord Vishnu, Puratassi month.
Today also the beginning of Mahalaya Paksha for 14 days , from September 17,2016 till September 30, 2016.

This period is very important, it is called Mahalaya Paksha where we do pitru yagna, ancestral worship.
 This period of time, all the ancestors who are connected through soul genes will come to your home and stay there for awhile and go back to Pitru loka on September 30,2016.
They come down and when they are welcomed in a proper manner, they will grant unlimited blessings, love and help to us.                                                                           
We and our ancestor are connected through the soul, it is soul genetics.
What do we need to do ?
1. Be vegetarian throughout the month.
2. Attend temples as much as possible.
3. Do darpanam everyday at home which takes 1 to 2 minutes only. On the Amavasai day 30 of September , you can engage a priest to do elaborate darpanam or go to temples where they conduct it. Darpanam is basically feeding our ancestor. check at the YouTube below
4. Do annatham on this particular day and feed the poor and animals too.
It is your duty and dharma to observe the darpanam as only though our parent and their parent and their parent and it continues, that have taken human birth and continue there journey.
