Next upcoming festival which is very very important to one of the miracle Hindu god,
the great Mahadeva Lord Ganesha is Vinayakar Chaturthi which falls on chaturthi tithi September 5, 2016. All around the in the temples and the homes, His "birthday" celebrated grandly.

Lord Ganesha, the great Mahadeva is an important deity and is worshiped by every Hindu in the world . He is an actual being where many have seem him and communicated with Him. His presence was felt by everyone in the world on September 21, 1995 where the Miracle Milk incident happened. Lord Ganesha started to drink milk, look at the link http://www.hinduismtoday.com/modules/smartsection/item.php?itemid=3481. Wow, what an amazing happening.

Lord Ganesha is the gatekeeper and also the channel or gateway into spiritual unfoldment. He sits at the the base chakra Muladhara. He is known as Lord of Remover of obstacles where he removes obstacles through His goad and also hold
obstacles through his noose. He helps to refined our karma so that we can more smoother living and unfoldment.  He is known as Lord of Categories where he governs the higher intellect mind into science and profound knowledge. He is also known as Lord of Dharma where he governs the orderliness in this material world ( Bhuloka ).

What is important is that our sincerity and love and that connects our self with Lord Ganesha. He is very close to this material world and can be connected with him easily. Open your , talk to him, make him as your best friend and your life with move smoothly with his guidance your wisdom.

Prepare a simple shrine, decorated with some flowers, put a kumbha pot with coconut and mango leaves. He  loves fruits including pomegranates, mango, sugar cane, coconut water, jack fruit,  banana and other fruits. He loves modaka balls and sweets too. Serve him and open your heart to Him. He will hears your prayers. One powerful mantra for him is Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha or Om Ganeshaya Namaha. keep chanting his mantra and sing vinayakar Agaval
